This setup gives you a window into data on almost 500 million BART exits from 2015 through 2018. Each record represents one hour at a station, recording how many people exited that station during the hour. There is a separate record from each of the other stations in the BART system.
As of version 002k, data include all of 2015 through 2018
Useful Variables
- riders: number of exits during that hour.
- when: date and time.
- hour: the integer hour out of 24.
- day: weekday.
- startAt: station where the passenger entered the system
- endAt: station where the passenger left the system
- startReg, endReg: regions for start and end. These might make some graphs simpler. "City" is SF but not downtown.
